The 9th Street Chair by HICKORY CHAIR - Named for the home of the Hickory Chair workroom and offices in Hickory-North Carolina, where they’ve been making one-of-a-kind fine furniture to order for 100 years. The form is interpreted from a vintage Hickory Chair sofa from the 1960’s. With a very crisp, architectural form, the 9th Street upholstered series has a distinctively squared track arm, T-cushion seat and streamlined exposed lower rail with tapered posts constructed in solid ash. Currently at our Alexandria showroom are the 9th Street Chair (shown below) and the 3 Seat Sofa.
